I was looking for a spot in downtown Abu Dhabi to have a drink last week after a day at ADIPEC. Unfamiliar area for me and I wandered into a hotel lounge. Open the door and it’s nothing but working girls looking for a date for the night. I had one drink and made my way to the exit.

Nope just another schmuck who walked a good 15 miles in some uncomfortable shoes. There’s definitely some interesting booths but man that thing is enormous.

I work with some who attended. I’ll never get on a 16 hour flight, though. 4 hours is my limit, and even that is miserable for me!

This is the downside of global mobile. Looks more like a worn out 59 year old. Guy looks dead inside/alcoholic and has prob been hitting up shady prostitutes worldwide as he moved every few years to the next shitty office location.
How much you XOM’ers think he’s making, or should I say, made as an SVP? Def > 350
Whatever it is, it wasn’t worth uprooting your life for every 2 years esp if you have a family - hopefully he doesn’t

Edit:Not too long ago they had an employee get arrested for posting online a ton of upskirt pics he took on campus.

there used to be an annual O&G "conference" in Mobile, maybe still is, that would take up an entire Hilton, pretty nice place compared to modern day Hiltons, had tennis courts, a couple of real nice golf courses nearby, an entire floor was dedicated to high priced, hot af hookers, it was nothing but a week long party/orgy, sort of like a gulf coast Epstein Island

This reminds of a late good friend that was a salesman for an oil services company. He would go to Houston for a few days every week with a thousand dollars in cash. The cash was to cover the hookers he had to pay for in cash that he couldn't pay with the company credit card.

I knew a guy that flew a corporate jet for a couple of geologists years ago whose bosses would go to that, I went a couple of years, my buddy asked me if I would take a trip for him in their second airplane for that "conference" one year, I said sure, the trip was to fly to Houston and pick up six hookers and bring them to Mobile, he(my friend,) had to go back and pick up the bosses wives and take them to their condos in Fl to make sure they would be occupied while their husbands were at "work"
