30 years ago, US military policy was based on staffing 2 unrelated war fronts

We are there today, with Ukraine and Israel . And recruitment is down, the fleet can't sail, Special ops is downsized 20%, munition inventory is very low, physical conditioning no longer required, troops cannot get uniforms, and the f35 is lost.

But no worry, the rainbow flags fly, woke training is up to date.

I think we are now officially into those tough times that will hopefully create tough men, but I’m not holding my breath.

God had lifted his hand of protection from the US and thrown our govt and military into confusion. It will only get worse.

Bad spelling, but he's right. I've posted previously on how many of our SSBNs, SSNs, and cruisers cannot sail because of uncompleted refits (which take years.)

We were supposed to be able to fight in two regional wars at the same time, and we blew that notion before the end of the Clinton administration. The Navy, which I pay particular attention to, has catastrophically failed at safety and navigation, which aren't even table stakes, they're you don't row a 10' boat without knowing these lessons.

Have you SEEN many of those men?!?! Can't remember the last time I came across a good one. With the exception of those in my house. I'm not very hopeful either!

The military is in good shape. Don’t believe the nonsense from fools liked Tuberville.

I’m from a military family, I served as well, and as much as it pains me to say it, part of me wants a world wide conflict with a draft here in the US. For too long a small percentage of Americans have sacrificed blood for this nation while the other 99% bitch and do nothing. Maybe forcing some leftists to actually fight a war would change their perspective

The nonsense isn’t coming from Tuberville, he is just making sure the military follows the law

You're coasting on emotion. It is not. The Navy runs into other boats repeatedly and often. The Army has diversity recruitment goals, and is cutting 10% of Spec Ops, but it still tens of thousands of recruits short.

The military today is prepared to go to war with the number one threat to America: Trump MAGA Republican terrorists. They can defeat us with the help of the FBI, DHS, CIA, etc. We have no external threats.

We are

The CCP

We are

With Xi

We are

With Iran

We are

F*cked.

Not even close. Most people are watching football and don't even know Israel was attacked. You'll know the tough times when people are going to bed hungry and you have close friends dying in war.

With the price of food before this attack, I think there were already a lot of people going to bed hungry

To add to my response, I think we are in tough times already, but media has fooled folks into thinking all is fine

With two very smart people. 40 years old. Two kids. At 8 o clock tonight, I asked if they heard about the Hamas attack on Israel. They did not.

Granted they are busy with kid stuff today, but I was surprised.

Why would we fight in Israel or Ukraine?
