Yep. The 90s were sick. The whole neighborhood of kids would get together and play football, roller hockey, trampoline wrestling, and other fun shite all the time.

White flight hit my neighborhood hard. There were no other kids to play with after 1st grade or so.

Agreed. None of this woke crap was going on. Everybody was normal and it was great.

I agree to be a teen in this range was the sweet spot. No cell phones, video gaming was not over the top. Hanging with friends at the mall, playing pickup games during the summer. Was a great time to be young

It was. We were the last real generation of feral children who actually had respect for law and order and feared repercussions.

Just think about what life would be like without cell phones and internet. People actually interacted with one another, face to face. It was great.

It's amazing to think back at how much things have changed purely because of technology, for better and for worse. For kids, it was a simpler but great time to be alive.

Did you have your dads old pager in middle school? No.

90's > 80's by a lot.

Its amazing that we all met up. We knew where to meet and then we did.

We knew where to go without google maps.

Besides the fact that I was young
In high school then college in the 90’s

They were a wonderful time. Music was great. Film/TV were great. Realitvely little economic strife. It was also a perfect bridge between old and new technology.

All of this

How did we survive without cellphones?!
if we ran out of gas or had car trouble we would flag down a complete stranger.
Until I got my bag cell phone

Lots of neon. Great cartoons. Y2K was the big scare tactic.

I've grown up with my dad telling me all about the 80's and 90's, and as I wasn't there I just have to take his word. Without any nostalgia, was it really that great?

Cell phones and social media ruined future generations.

My kids will never know the simple pleasure of just going to rent a movie.

Just look how society has changed over the past 20 years.

Pagers were the start of the end of free ranging.

Kids were totally wild in the 70s and early 80s.
