Wanna see a Corvette stuck under a Semi truck? And it’s not completely crushed.

From a wreck this morning on I-49 N near Mansfield. Some how there were no serious injuries.

Just how the hell?

I had NO idea that the body of a corvette could support that much weight without pancaking.

Good thing they aren’t built with fiberglass anymore.

That’s a C7 which was still made out of Fiberglass and Carbon Fiber.

Their safety is a point of pride and emphasis. At the Corvette Museum in Kentucky, there are a couple of displays showing crushed cars with in tact cabins. Kinda fascinating.

Super strong A pillars, and hydroformed frame rails.

Very strong, stout cars.

The A pillar (windshield posts) will support the whole weight of the car.
