I expected better from the university that produced frat members like Faulkner. I don't know why, but I always imagined Ole Miss fratstars to be a higher class of douche, if you get what I'm saying. Like old money douche. Douches with sophistication and a blonde girlfriend. A true douche of privilege and summer interneships from their father's friend. Instead, those boys were more like the TJ Maxx version of what I imagine southern frat boys to bet. Like, they look like they drive a 2001 Chevy S-10 crew cab with a hard bed topper while vaping and listening to a rattling sound system coming from a Walmart 10" sub.

Our colours are so fricking trashy when compared to UGA, Bama, Ole Miss and even OU, A&M and Texas. 
I'd give anything for us to change to a darker shade of purple and scratch the bright highlighter yellow for an olde gold like U Dub. Much more dignified and collegiate.
Oregon has vastly de-emphasized their gaudy yellow for the very reasons I cite above. They are more green and silver than green and yellow nowadays.

OM is trash. I’ve almost been in fights 2/3 times there. One time my mom, sister, daughter, niece and wife rode together and me, my dad, my BIl, nephew and son rode together. 2 drunk late 20 year olds walked by cussing my mom and them out and throwing stuff at them. We were parked about 10 spots over. I chased them idiots to their car and they took off. Trash. They didn’t know we were with the girls.
