You already know his voting status and party affiliation

Unfortunately doing this is illegal and will get you fined and used against you during the eviction hearing, which can further delay the removal of the squatter.
Seattle continues to cave in to tenant rights groups and then try to blame greedy landlords when rental inventory continues to fall.

Why not stop paying the utility bill? I’d have that shite cut off

The homeowner wrote a new lease to the "consultant". The new renter (the consultant) moved into the house and parked himself there to live with the squatter. He had valid lease paperwork signed by the homeowner when the police arrived. The police said it was a civil matter and left. So now the squatter had to deal with a new person (who was much bigger) in the house. The squatter got out because he couldn't handle the tension that the consultant created by being there constantly applying pressure to GTFO. The the house was turned back over to the home owner within 24 hours.
Now this is smart

What? This isn't a law everywhere right? I am serious. What's the logic behind this?
What laws do I look for to read about them??

Here is the WA State law, I don't know about other states:
https://apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=59.18.300#:~:text=It%20shall%20be%20unlawful%20for,order%20to%20make%20necessary%20repairs.
We have a home with an basement ADU in Seattle we no longer live in but don't want to sell. Due to the laws here we refuse to rent either unit long term and only rent furnished on Airbnb or to highly qualified tenants looking for a 1-6 months temporary lease.

“OK. So, not only is he not paying me, but he’s generating an income through the basement Airbnb unit, and meanwhile, I’m having to pay the utilities for that unit,” said Jason.
What are the chances that Jason voted for the people that have made this possible?

He needs to get some sketchy friends to rent it for a night.

I would lake the front and back door off the house.
