quote:

Ole Miss gashed the Tigers on the ground and had rushes like this frequently. The linebackers missed tackles and did not help, but just watch where the defensive linemen end up.

quote:

With the pass rush of Perkins, Wingo, and Smith, there’s no reason not to be getting pressure more often than what LSU is. For the entirety of this season, we’ve known about the shortcomings of LSU’s defensive backfield, but the defensive line’s inability to rattle opposing quarterbacks has been equally as concerning. In the Tigers’ two losses, the defense has zero sacks in each game. Jaxson Dart and Jordan Travis were hardly bothered from a four-man front and only when LSU sent blitzes could it really get home and that left receivers open.

On first and 19 you have the heaviest, slowest linemen in the game. That’s fricking awful

Burns has no excuse for his poor tackling other than he’s just not that good

Piss fricking poor. If every one of those guys on defense isn't absolutely beside themselves watching that film, we have serious problems.

doesn't matter now but shouldn't the last gif have been called back for pass interference on the "rub routes" the Ole miss receivers are running and the running back was Infront of the line of scrimmage during the blocks?

That last one looks like a pick play. The receivers block the guy responsible for covering Ole Miss #4 which makes it look like our #2 was badly out of position. He was containing the QB like he was supposed to.

That was clear offensive PI.

Seems like it, but I’m not sure why Penn took that angle as the guy in motion was his man.
I find it hard to believe we didn’t practice that leading up to the game, but maybe not

It absolutely was a pick play. If you watch the clip further, the wr starts celebrating as soon as he hits him.

Maybe Womack should have arrived 3 minutes earlier for his smoothie.

A guy who should be a nose tackle at DE, that’s fricking ridiculous. You also have a QB who coming into the game was a leading rusher and have both Lbs bail out in coverage. That’s a scheme issue

If he doesn't play Saturday we riot. If Denver can get back on the field there is no excuse.

How is that not a fake slide in the second gif. At the first down marker, he looks like he is going for a slide, our guy just hits the deck as to not get a penalty, and he jumps over him instead.

that last one was Offensive PI but went uncalled....but i am not here to do the blame game the defense had multiple opprotunities and could not capitalize...the ole Miss O-line dictated that game which should never happen to an LSU D-line...ever..

1st GIf -- Sam fell for the counter action as if there was a magic show in the backfield

2nd GIF. Ryan is toasted by Dart. Poor angle. He was begging to get squared up (like what happened to JD), only to have Ryan chase him from behind.

Didnt have the stomach to watch the 3rd one
