Georgia: Correctional officer dies after attack from inmate at Smith State Prison

TATTNALL COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - A correctional officer is dead

According to the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) Sunday, Correctional Officer Robert Clark was escorting two inmates from the dining hall when one inmate assaulted Clark from behind with a homemade weapon. The other inmate tried to step in to assist Clark, but was also assaulted.
Clark and the inmate who assisted him were both transported to local hospitals.
Officials say the inmate suffered non-life threatening injures and remains in the hospital.
Clark died at the hospital from his injures.

Would it be too much to hang him in the prison yard, and just leave his body hanging there until the vultures had their way with him?

That guy won’t make it long. Wherever he ends up, COs will make a deal with a lifer to end that guy.

He's gonna end up signed with suge knight, on death row... where he'll have no contact with another inmate. Unless you think he'll encounter a lifer in county jail, while awaiting state trial.

Yeah we do alot of business with GDC and Smith is one of my accounts. Absolute hell hole. I live about an hour from there

Did you read any of the story or is this a failed attempt to compare two events that were only similar because they happened at a jail?
