I cant do anything but laugh at this point.

Both will be back for the season then but miss all of Training Camp and Preseason, which isn't exactly ideal for 2 of your primary backups, and your 3rd primary backup is out until Christmas at the earliest.

This isn't anything new. We've known about both already.

That's good news. Both will be ready for the regular season.
Nance had ankle issues the second half of the season. He could barely jump or shoot.

I mean at this point it's impressive how this team is always injured.

didn't even know Larry was hurt.
“Hurt” is Nance’s day to day state. That’s partly how we got him since we had a TPE to accept his contract.

Maybe im missing something. When did we know about Larry being hurt?
Posted on 9/28/23 at 2:50 pm to Pels_Yaz
I vaguely recall seeing a mention of it on twitter several weeks back, including mention of him likely getting an injection

Thats on me. I dont remember seeing anything on Larry. But at this point with pelican injuries, everything kind of blurs together.

I also don’t remember seeing anything on Larry. So that’s another disappointment.
Hopefully Trey is reviewing well and ahead of schedule. Heard he was shooting in practice already

Larry is always hurt it’s just if he’s hurt enough to not be able to play

He's out for a couple weeks in the offseason. Ya'll are so overdramatic

If you been following the pelicans for the past years you would completely understand a fan’s frustration with the injuries. Technically it aint the offseason when training camp begins and pelican players rarely recover and come back according to the team’s timeline.

I have been. There's a difference between frustration and going "sky is falling" about every hangnail like some people here do.

I get that. But 3 of your rotational players are starting out training camp injured. The sky isn’t falling but nothing to ignore either when your team is constantly dealing with injuries.

Not like we're trying to learn some new offensive system or anything.....

Why is it always 2-3 weeks. It’s like they’re poking at us

I was being sarcastic
This team is going to get injuries.. much rather then now than 20 games in
