I have been critical of JD in the past but how can anyone be bitching at this time after the last 3 games. It is moronic. If he goes and chokes against Ole Miss or Mizzou then you have an argument. Or even AL or TAM then you may have a case but at this time STFU and support one of the best QB's in the league.

If he could improve our defense by just 30% (which would still be mediocre overall), I’d feel much better about our chances to make a little noise this season.

You don’t really need to start a thread to try and convince this small, but loud group of posters. They’ve made up their mind about Jayden & will complain regardless of how good he is.

LOL. So he dominates teams that aren't that good. LOL. Isn't that what a good QB is supposed to do? Unreal. Threw for 350 yds against the #1 team in the country with absolutely no help from his defense or running game. You don't have a clue.

The impressive thing is comparatively his YPA is 10.45.
The 3 above him on compl % are:
9.7
9.25
8.81
Completing over 70% at 10+ YPA is probably the most impressive improvement for Daniels this season.

I have done the same. This year is shaping up different. JD started out with some of the same issues that we bitched about last yr. Since the FSU game he gotten back on the track he and BK talked about preseason. He is pushing the ball up the field much better. He has extended drives by passing. And he seems to be handling the rush better.
Bottom line is winners find a way to win when things get tough. If he keeps winning he could be on the podium in Dec. If he can get through each week with a W his confidence (and the teams) will grow exponentially

Yes but Jayden has more yards and touchdowns along with a higher QB rating than those 3.
The number one guy (Mertz) has 16 less attempts, 345 less yards, and 8 less TD’s than him.
That tells me he is completing a lot of balls at or around the LOS boosting his completion percentage.

Has nothing to do with the fact our secondary does not have elite players and everyone knew this going into the season. He is not a bad coach and is trying lots of different things to correct. Hopefully something works. To say he needs to be fired at this point of the season is pathetic, but on par for this board I guess.

IMO, that average is the biggest sign of how far he's come.
