Last I saw he drove them into medium FG range and the kicker missed the probable winning field goal. But lets only focus on the plays that didn't work, right?

Saints would be undefeated. That's tough to do in this league. Look, somehow Saints can go 3 and 1 in 1st qt of season is very good sign.

He didn't blow a 17-0 lead in 15 minutes.

Grupe never should have been in that position.

Fellas - Saints never had a chance. An immediate family member put a juju on the team while up 17-0, and every drive after. I tried to offset it. Too strong.

Making the FG would have been nice, though. But, yeah we were in the shite, it seemed.

thats crazy. the defense is legit. The refs gave them one of those 2 scoring drives with 2 PI calls, and the other was a collection of highlight reel catches. None of that is sustainable. We had an excellent chance of holding in that situation, but maybe losing was needed. A win would have only masked the glaring issues with this offense.

That throw into the stands was terrible... At least give your WR a chance. Of course Winston had happy feet and never looked comfortable at any moment on Sunday

I would have taken my chances with that. That incomplete pass on second down didn’t help but that is a moot point now.

Grupe is much to blame as any. He missed his shot to win the game, choked up.

Don’t put this on Grupe.

This loss is 100% on Jameis Winston and our shite defense.

Bull. Not on Winston at all. Grupe deserves some blame for missing the FG. However, the defense gets most of the blame for blowing a 17 point lead with under 12 minutes left against a beat up offense.

They would have gotten the ball with 1:05 on the clock and 2 timeouts. With the way our defense played in the 4th quarter you don't think they would easily get down to the redzone for a close FG, if they don't wind up in the endzone altogether? Guarantee the refs would at least give them one huge chunk of yards on a BS DPI call.

It's disappointing we didn't adjust once the Packers started attacking our weak link at Corner... If anything it was a coaching failure.

Putting this on Jameis is ridiculous. He's a backup QB who got us into field goal range.

This loss is on:
Pathetic OL most importantly
Pathetic coaching (Marrone, PM, and DA)
Grupe
Winston
and yes the soft arse D in the 4th Q. Don't give me the tired shite. They gave up a 4th down TD and then the 2-point plus another TD.

So in reality, this was a complete shite loss on most of the team. However, some half-hearted OL play and Carr isn't injured and we win this thing going away.

You mean offense?

No he means defense. I understand we only scored 17 points and 10 of that from offense.

But the defense allowed 4 straight drives down the field and a two point conversion.

Don't forget they went for a 4th down while losing 17-0. Should have taken 3 there.

Love was 22 of 24 for over 200 Yards to end the game.

That last Winston pass should have been thrown past the first down marker. We get the first, game over.

Playing for the FG just sucked. We all saw it we all knew what would happen even if he made it.

The offense had what 4 or 5 possessions the 2nd half? What do you think is gona happen when the offense craps out and stays of the field for 1 minute. They could only sustain that level of play for so long. Im amazed anyone would think to blame the defense for this

Should have tried a 55 yd field goal earlier instead of punting. You can't play not to lose. We elect to punt. If he's the kicker u like, you have to put him through the test and kick a 55 like other teams are doing. Allen had no balls.
