I wonder if DeSantis makes it to Thanksgiving before dropping out and endorsing Trump

I don't think Desantis endorses Trump. I also think he keeps going until the primaries. We'll see how things are going after South Carolina.

If this were actually about his chances as compared to the good of the party, he would already be out.
It's not. He's going to be in for a long time because the intent of his campaign is to do as much damage to Trump in the general as possible.

Fixed that for you.

I think DeSantis will endorse Trump ahead of/at the time of the nomination. But not while there are still semi-contested primaries. DeSantis probably has a fairly loyal 10-15% of the electorate which is also the most conservative portion. Backing Trump earlier won't sit well with them especially with the recent CRT and abortion antics, but nobody will care down the stretch once we're in general mode.

So we’re really going to go with a convicted felon, incarcerated candidate. Seriously, how do y’all see this playing out? It’s the Dems’ dream scenario.

*See 4th place in NH to see how much damage he’s doing

But not every Republican is all about the establishment, moneyg. A little competition from the Right flank of the Republican party is healthy for DT.

This is stupid.

Name them. Who of the Ronbots do you think is stupid enough to suggest this?

They were stupid enough to suggest dems were arresting trump to get him elected. So….

DeSantis will give Trump a rousing endorsement at the RNC convention with a strong speech. Trump will walk out and embrace him, raise his arm up, point to him while mouthing the words “great guy” during the standing ovation. Trump will then change his name to Ron DeSuper.

Literally no one said this.

The claim, and it's one I still support, was that part of what they've indicted Trump is to ensure he gets the NOMINATION over any potentially better, more appealing general candidate. The numbers bear this out, as each and every time they lay down another indictment his poll numbers go up. Has frick all to do with any other candidate. it's just circling the wagons.
Which is great...but it's not going to gain you votes in the general. And he and guys like you have helped burn bridges with people like prefer DeSantis and some (not me) won't vote for him now.
I feel like Tom Cruise in A Fe Good Men when he finally says, "We're gonna lose...and we're gonna lose BIG!"

You may not agree, but that's not a stupid idea. A lot of Republicans believe that, and in fact the other day Megan Kelly said as much in the run-up to a question she asked DT. A lot of Democrats have actually said/written that Trump was who they wanted in the general.
So, again, name the Ronbots stupid enough to suggest what you posted.

If that hypocrite arse endorses Trump he is more of a hypocrite.

He will eventually. If not it will make him look like a little baby who is butthurt.
