Coonbelly has passed away

Edward Charles “Coonbelly” Tillman, a resident of Houma, peacefully departed this life on Saturday, September 9, 2023. He was 65.

Mr. Tillman leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved sisters, Cynthia Matthews and Gail Meyers; his beloved brothers, Terry, Barry, Johnel, Stacy and Perry (Luaipoumalo) Matthews and a host of nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles and other relatives and friends.

One of Coonbelly’s relatives T boned my 1964 Impala when I was 16 years old.

He had no insurance.
