I’d like a black Oxford/Derby with a brown sole, but more matte than shiny traditional dress shoes. Looking for something more to wear with nice jeans than a suit.

Wolverine used to make the Luke, but they don’t anymore. Any of those hipster boot companies make a low top?

The frick would you want this for? Brown and black don't go together. Don't dress like your backsplash

Black-black looks like a mailman’s shoe to me.

You lost me there. I think black shoes are hideous.

Perhaps if you buy your shoes form Walmart.

Who wears black shoes with casual outfits anyway? That's a terrible look. Brown is infinitely more versatile.

My butler wears the Cavadent from Velasca when he's on his way to and from work. He changes into a patent leather once here though

Oh I have, I’m not finding what I want. Not sure it exists. May have to get more creative with the sole.

These are close to what I’m looking for: https://www.ebay.com/itm/402545994810

Unique taste…I’d rather the soles didn’t stick out that far.

That’s what I’m looking for…just something black and plain.

These are close…a little too much detail though.

Have to admit those look better than what you posted.

Allen Edmonds Strand's or Park Avenue's will be your best bet but I'm not sure you'll find them with brown soles. Great shoes though which I highly recommend.
