I was in a good mood after Saints game and tuned in live (which I rarely do anymore). Boy was I in for a treat!

Here's a sobering thought for you this morning. If Ryan Pressly had done his damn job and we had the 3 wins he melted tf down in the 2nd half...

July 15, blows a 3 run lead vs Angels

August 25th, allows 4 runs with 2 outs

September 18th, blows a 2 run lead

Those 3 wins he pissed away would be good for a 4.5 game lead in the division. Meanwhile Bryan Abreu has allowed 1 run in the 2nd half.

That gif may be the best DAT summary I've ever seen. Well done.

What I most took away from Pressly's shite performance is that his pitches are far too similar and his slider has no bite left.

His fastball and slider are in essentially the same velocity window (90-95 mph). That isn't abnormal for him, but these days he is throwing his slider more than ever despite it having less movement than ever. So essentially as a hitter you can be on time for any pitch in the zone when he is going pure slider/fastball. No pitcher succeeds when they live on the meat of the plate, but most closers have elite enought pitches that they can get by even when they miss. Last night was a perfect example that Pressly doesn't have the "stuff" to get past someone when he makes a mistake....which is the exact opposite of Abreu.

FODB needs to frick the frick off.

Team Meeting leader needs to frick off (despite getting a HR yesterday)

Pressly now needs to frick off immediately.

Anyone else I'm forgetting?
