I have enjoyed this season much more than the first. I wasn’t planning on watching the second season, but I downloaded the season to watch on a flight to Denver. I finished the first 5 on the flight out and back. It’s not perfect, but I think it’s a big improvement over the first season.

Glad others are enjoying it. There are shake my head moments still but there are more good moments and the Season has got me fully on board.

My problem with the series is that instead of making Robert Jordan's series, they made their series using his characters and his world.
And they clearly didn't understand any of it.
for. . .you know. . ."modern audiences"
Such as:
They didn't understand the characters or their motivations, the setting, the lore, the factions and their motivations, and the relationships between the chatacters.
So they replaced it all with "for modern audiences" nonsense.

As long as you don't expect it to have anything to do with the actual Wheel of Time material outside character names, sure I guess.

The second season is really good.

It never ceases to amaze me what a heaping pile of whiny vaginas people are about MuH sOuRcE mATeRiAlS. It’s the same losers bitching in the Rings of Power thread but at least that show is actually not good.

That's the depth of thought of someone who would think powdered water is a great idea.
The success of the source material is why these programs are made in the first place. If the source material was dreck no one bought nor read, these programs would never have been made. It's conceivable that someone could take the source material and write something better when they put it onto film, but this isn't it.
If you like it, good for you. Seriously. But the ignorance of your comment is like someone who has never even opened a can of soup telling a master chef how to properly make and cook a turducken.
Read the first book then come back with at least an informed opinion.

This is my thoughts. And I’ve read the books numerous times. The amount of people sky screaming about how much they hate it is exhausting.
