Maybe he's talking about how Roman 'Men" changed the world with engineering and wrecking havoc on those who opposed. Roman men were alpha.......well, except for the one's that like boys and bath houses.

History repeats!

I still say the former POTUS is the reincarnation of Nero. Ask her if she sees the same?

This started on Face Tok.

I told my wife that I think of the Roman Empire every day. With a straight face. Because it’s true.

The only time women think about the Roman empire is when they're too lazy to cook and pick up a couple of Little Caesars.

The Romans did establish the Julian calendar. In a sense, if you know what day it is, then you are thinking about the Romans.

How many people are aware that Hannibal occupied southern Italy for 15 years!?

it's crazy he just went town to town wrecking shite unopposed for 15 years because they avoided him in favor of a war of attrition.

My wife is smart and highly successful, and it's annoying she doesn't think about it. Or any periods/events of history for the most part.

Listen woman I don't want to talk about your day at work or the post the girl you went to HS made on FB, I want to talk about the Boxer Rebellion and your inability to do so on short notice is really limiting our marriage

I would say they prob think about things they gave us without knowing.

Language, religion, art, architecture, philosophy, law.

dafuq? my wife randomly asked me how often I think about the Roman Empire yesterday. Is this a tick tock trend or some shite?

Anyhow, she looked really bored when I started talking about how you can't really pin the fall of the Roman Republican system of government squarely on Julius Ceasar and that it was more of a hundred or so years of different people undermining the law that allowed him to do his thing

Interesting Roman soldiers were big on the Baths and lots of little boy's in camp when they were on the road. Greek army did the same, guess it was normal to be gay back then.

The Romans were always copying the Greeks.
