Va Tech was 2007 and yes it was awesome. That whole season was except for the loss to Arkansas.

We used to tailgate at the soccer field during mid and late 90s, which was a shitload of fun, and then in the 2000s we moved over to the area near the Greek Amphitheater where the band warms up before the big walk to “down the hill.” Both were awesome!

If the stadium is going to continue having a DJ and a host, I’ll just stick with tailgating going forward and drive home during the 1st quarter.

Late 80’s until Bertman moved the RV lot away from Nicholson Dr to touchdown village in the early 2000’s. It was a blast hanging out with the opposing fans on their way to the stadium.

Before the SEC Network
You had the 11:30am JP Game
2:30 CBS
1 ESPN Night Game
maybe more on ESPN2
SEC Network did not exist

early to mid 2000's.

We could still park on the grass lots by field house. HATT and KOR was a real deal. Many tailgating groups around the place. No paying to park everywhere on campus. Place was rocking.

There was a buzz in the air outside of my own personal buzz for Bama 2022. I had a damn good feeling that game.

The gameday atmosphere of UF 2007 was 2nd to none.
That was Tiger Stadium at its peak.

There were a few games where the opposing teams bus was almost tipped over as they were approaching TS

We "March" down the hill and to the stadium, not "Walk."

It was arguably my favorite part of the Game Day, that is until they started making us take that detour down to the Field House to play for the Alumni/TAF. We all hated that.

I've always hated that Saturday afternoon practice too. Prepare well during the week and it's not needed at all. All it did was to zap our energy for Saturday Night Live in Tiger Stadium.

We played the entire game too with no interference with pre-recorded garbage.

Yall remember the 4-Part "Geaux" cadence that we (Drum Line) played the entire game when the Tigers were on Offense?

03 UGA it was different, I’ve said it once I will say it again. In the moment UGA went 90 plus and the crowd broke out with the LSU chants everyone in that stadium was bought in.

That was such a moment. Probably top 5 best single moments in TS.
I’m sure everyone there felt like they were in the middle of the defiant crowd that started the chant but I certainly do

Ok, nerd.

2003 was amazing. I tent camped and it was first come first serve for campus street parking. No restrictions on tailgates.

Ha, nearly everything 80s gets a nod.

I vaguely remember that, the tailgates being setup right next to the stadium.

Whatever year they started the “Save the Oaks” campaign and started putting those little black barriers all over campus. It was the beginning of the end.

2000-2012. Peak of that era was 2002-2007.

Honorable mention auburn 2001 . That was special

Agreed, I was at this game & there were so many variables that went into making this game so memorable: Rescheduled as the last game due to 9/11. SEC West Championship & CG Appearance (1st for LSU), Revenge for AU & Tubbs Cigar smoking smugness in previous wins. Night game @ TS. Im sure I'm forgetting something but that crowd was so amped up! It had been WAY too long since LSU had been a contender for the SEC Championship & a NY Day Bowl Game

It’s also the game that really announced to CFB that LSU wasn’t gonna be the same old LSU (unrealized potential) with Saban at the helm.
