Those are the largest stars I've ever seen on a uniform ,even Gen. Patton did not have such large stars.

On WWL radio today, one of their host said she was telling people she was a shoe-in for the job in July.
Teddy knew she didn't have the votes on the council. After having the veto over ridden and locks changed, she needed someone who the council would approve.

I have no clue of the entire story, but this doesn't seem to be the case judging by the independent auditor wanting her out for not disciplining her officers enough.
Also, she went against the sanctuary city BS and worked with ICE to piss off a bunch of people.
Not sure if the group of people who fired her are exactly considered officers that patrol the street.

Willfork doesn't have the votes on the council.
The majority of the council wants to see an outsider. That probably helps with the consent decree as well.
I am sure if Teedy had her way, it would have been Willfork months ago.

Because the council doesn't think she was.
This is exactly what the council hoped to do when they put in the qualification last year.
