Agree. I'm having PTSD flashbacks to the Pelini disaster year.

Truth hurts. This defense will not be good this year. It is what it is.

We don't have an elite recruiter on that side either. Another negative.

Whether I agree with your take on coaching or this stuff does not change the fact that you do indeed suck arse.

At some point, we gotta admit it’s beyond coaching. The players on the field have to take the heat. When you’re giving up multiple third and 10+ on the ground, it’s effort and lack of talent.

When our DBs get better. Pretty sure our coaching staff realizes that our secondary is weak, and when you blitz Perkins that forces our secondary to play Man and we can't cover in man. But yeah, keep begging for us to Blitz every play so we can get boat raced by wide open WRs.

Our fan base is 83% ate up with the dumbass.

An unprepared and befuddled Arkansas team may have set our expectations for HP4 a bit too high. That said, something is off. If he can’t show up against Grambling, I don’t think we should expect much from him this year. He looks a step slower, makes me wonder if he put on some weight that’s slowing him down. Maybe dude just needs to get injected with the flu before every game.

Steeples and Cooks need to go. Bad hires from the beginning. Need proven coaches if we are going to continue recruiting they we are in the secondary.

Problem with this is their pass rush is dog shite too. I don't care how good your DBs are as bad as LSU's pass rush is right now all your DBs are going to look horrible. You could put Patrick Peterson back there with Honey Badger and they'd be getting torched. LSU has 0 sacks in 2 games.

Another case of our idiot fan base running off a good coach. Dude went right back to the Vikings as their DB coach.

LSU fans had nothing to do with running Jones off. It was BK's decision. It had 0 to do with us and everything to do with who BK wanted. You want to bitch at someone, bitch at him. He kept a leftover from O's staff but didn't like anyone else so he showed them the door.

The alignment by the defense looks atrocious. Aside from the corners playing 8-10 yards off the ball, the LB spacing and DLine gaps are terrible. Every time they line up on defense, it looks like they are going to give up 7 yards.

It’s a horrendous scheme right now. It just looks soft.

House hates pressuring the QB. I don't understand it.

he had some nice plays last night. Grambling got the ball out fast and ran a lot of draws and quick passes.

he ran that dude down.

he had a serious QB pressure and a few nice pass breakups when they threw quick passes outside.

not a heavy statistical game but they used him better this week

Go back to one of the longer runs by grambling last night and watch Perkins track that guy down. The speed and angle of which he worked that tackle is something that not many LB’s in college football could have done.

To me he looked like he was confused about what he was supposed to be doing. He looked completely out of position all night.

Yeah I think Perkins is a highly instinctive player that is being asked to play within a scheme and he finding it difficult... the end result of which is what you are describing imo...

IMO.. a coach should recognized and play to the strengths of their players and develop/coach their deficiencies up.. Somehow they coached his strengths out of his performance...

There's reports he gets into fights in practice and you don't see him celebrating with his teammates. His body language says it all.

This is not even remotely close to being true what “reports” are you referencing?
