Even 98.1 has jumped the shark. Hopped in the car at halftime to run to the store. The halftime coverage consisted mostly of commercials and long and obviously paid for "interview" with the McDonald franchisee for the BR area. They're all run by a group out of Lafayette these days.

The brisket chili cheese hot dog was the best concession food I've ever had anywhere and top 3 hot dog. It was incredible. Near section 416

Apparently it’s a guy with a food truck and he rents that spot in TS from Aramark or something. They were selling it hard and I was skeptical but holy crap! I got the jerk chicken tacos twice. I talked to his mom and it seems like it’s just a privately run booth. It was great.

Of course, lsu had them to put plain hot dogs on the menu as well then didn’t supply them with plain hot dogs. Classic lsu!

Out The Pot is the name of the company.

Why can’t LSU just leave tradition alone?

There’s this need by media people to constantly try to find the next best hip thing but the majority fall so horrendously short

Executive Director of External Relations and Letterwinner Engagement. She's damn good at her job.

She needs to stay in the background and keep doing that job if she’s good at it. Her job should not be a fan-facing job.

The stadium stuff is basically being an emcee to keep the crowd awake. I'm not sure what you want her to sound like.

She doesn’t need to be heard at all by fans.

A big improvement would be to let local groups come do this. It is damn expensive to deal with them and cooler space is extremely limited though

For the first time in Tiger Stadium history, Monkey on a Stick was played. And it was glorious.

DJ was terrible. Concession stands with two workers. Ran out of hot dog buns. Ran out of lids. Workers cussing fans. Scott has work to do. Going up on tix prices with this shite-show.

Why does our band suck so much? Can we fire Damon Talley yet?

While the band does suck compared to how it was before the School of Music took control of it, they can only play when they are allowed to.

This seems to be less and less these days.

All the hip changes to the gameday experience are aimed at making sure that the younger generation will be interested in attending. Here is my question…what evidence is there that attendance was dropping? How many changes did it have pre 2007….with attendance increasing throughout its history? People who want this garbage ( dj…piped music) aren’t going to be financially supporting the program. Period.
LSU should axe all this crap and protect the Stadium experience with some kind of conservation legislation.

Like it or not, DJ is here to stay. The kids don’t care about the band like the old heads do… just being honest.

Don’t mind the in game host to keep people involved with all the dead time. Not gunna lie, seemed like excessive commercial breaks. Need to cut her mic down for sure

Sounds like a minor league baseball game... drives me crazy at the Sugar Land Space Cowboys games.

They had a dude doing the same thing in Orlando both times this year. Glad I couldn't understand him.

LSU is not minor league! Get rid of the sideline reporter...

Also, if a college football game in Tiger Stadium needs something to keep the crowd awake then there are much bigger problems that need to be addressed.

Prob a reason we never play these schools and should never. Completely diff levels.

Companies force marketing products and services to people who either hate or don’t care about those products and services to the annoyance and detriment of the core loyal base of consumers for their products and services is a bizarre phenomenon.

Why are we catering everything about the fan experience to people who aren’t fans and don’t give a shite about the sport?

LSU fans suck, don't travel to away games, and barely come to home games. I'm not sure the problem is on LSU as much as it is the entitled fanbase.

I and a bunch of LSU fans were in Orlando. Were you? Also did you stay until the end last night?
