What’s the famous surgeon that all the athletes used to go to? Andrews? I think he was a track guy at LSU

Not the most successful, but John Ed Bradley has done pretty well for himself post LSU.

Re Shaq's carwashes, according to his first book, he tells the story of his CPA calling him all worried. Seems the CPA found him to be $25K short & the CPA could not find where it was / went. Shaq laffed & told him to come over to his house, saying nothing else. Led the CPA back to his bedroom & showed him 2 huge wooden barrels full of quarters. Shaq told him he just like to have some of his money nearby so he could play with it. CPA shook his head & left without a word.

I’d imagine Ben Bordelon has a nice chunck of change being the heir and CEO Bollinger Shipyards.

At some point, Shaq will be better known for his NBA commentary career than his playing career, which is pretty unbelievable.

Both are dwarfed by his acting career

Tommy Banks is practicing medicine these days, IIRC.

He was the second coming when I was a kid in West Monroe in the early 90's.

Dr.Tommy Casanova....he recently retired from his Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat practice in Crowley. Physically looks like he could play tomorrow!

Bert Jones had a Cystic Fibrosis Golf Tournament every year, I helped coordinate it. Tommy and his brother Jackie would both attend, an yes, both looked like they could still play today.

Brandon Landry and WalkOns help with another golf tournament I assist with for Folds Of Honor, the WalkOns trailer is set up and supplies food for the tournament. Jack has moved on to some extent, I saw him a few years back.

I see Charles Alexander from time to time, he’s doing well.

I saw Michael Brockers and Russell Shepard at a Houston TD Club function a few months back, Coach Kelly was the main speaker.

Brett Bech lives in the Dallas area, he too is doing well. At one time he was helping with the rehab of sport’s patients, Brett was working with Dr. James Andrews. My cousin interned under Dr. Andrews, my cousin is an Orthopedic Pediatric Surgeon in BTR. I see Brett’s brother Blane at the Folds Of Honor Tournament at times.

When Brett Bech walked on at LSU, another guy walked on at the same time, Dr. Michael Blanchard. He is an orthopedic surgeon, did a little surgery on me.

Dr. Joseph Albergamo is here in BTR, I see him from time to time.

Walk On Jay Egloff was a jet fighter pilot, did well after LSU. He was on the LSU wrestling team, when title 9 kicked in he walked on the football team.

Jamie Bice, Lake Charles City Court Chief Judge. Here’s a Q&A with the Judge:
