Not reading 5 pages but the biggest thing you’re missing is Harold Perkins didn’t play in that game last year

"LSU was playing its first game under a new staff" And yet, somehow, LSU had no offensive turnovers and committed just 4 penalties all game. So they couldn't have been THAT rusty.
If you watch that game and then watch Bama you’ll see the difference. LSU was way out of sorts in the fsu game.

Had nothing to do with rust you idiot. It was a brand new machine that had never been started before.
Tick tock. 5 days before FSU finds out.

Well considering it was a 1 point game, frick yeah 55 seconds mattered.
Not really. The 55 second FSU "possession" happened right before LSU's final 99 yard drive. The only way it would've had any effect on the game is if LSU attempted an onside kick and recovered (against an FSU defense that would be set up for an onside kick). These are long shot odds that you don't "presume" to happen. Sure they COULD happen, but so could lots of other things in the course of a game. It's definitely not something that should be presumed WOULD'VE happened, and certainly not the reason LSU lost.

LSU played terribly and still should have/could have won.
It's not that difficult to comprehend

For two, the reality is that LSU was an XP away from taking the game into OT with all the momentum. That’s a fact JACK
The reality is also that FSU was a fumble away from winning by 14. There are so many things, both good and bad, that can be said about both teams last year.
These two teams are both very good. Whichever team makes fewer mistakes will likely win. Last year that wasn't us. We need to play better than we did at times last year in order to win. Same can be said about FSU.

In fact after the first quarter LSU never ran a single play where they could've taken the lead. But yet, somehow, they 'shoulda won'?
Did LSU not have the ball on the last play of the game? They technically could have went for two and taken the lead but don't let facts get in the way of a good story.

Did you just make up someone to argue with?

Thanks for the update. Please check back after the game.

99 of their total yards came in the final minute when FSU had gone completely prevent.
and it would have went to overtime if not for a blocked XP. So you are telling me that your coaching staff does not know when to apply schemes correctly given the situation. See "trev", anyone can arrange stats and circumstances to prove a point.

They've also won five straight vs LSU
This has no bearing on anything
quote:congrats on mentioning something else that has no bearing
And they're playing in a stadium where FSU has never lost.

FSU is the better team and has the better roster.
So your opinion is valid, yet others opinions including vegas' is wrong
You sound real insecure Trevor. To come to an opposing teams message board is very beta.

I just looked back at this jackass’s brief post history. Last year he claimed that Bowden was the coach for only three of the 10 games that LSU has played Florida State.
Hey dumbass!! Try eight of the 10 games. Bowden coached eight of them.
Take your troll act elsewhere and go frick yourself. OP.

But again, FSU was only able to eat up 3 total minutes. LSU did not lose opportunities. One of those muffed punts resulted in a loss of 55 seconds and no FSU points.
I think your 3-minute breakdown is an oversimplification of the impact on the game, especially since the first muff essentially ended the half for LSU, but I will play along. Three minutes is a lot of time in a game decided by a blocked extra point.
The last three times LSU touched the ball:
10 plays - 82 yards TD 4 minutes
15 plays - 75 yards TD 4 minutes
11 plays - 99 yards TD 1 minute 20 seconds
3 minutes would have mattered a lot.

false cause fallacies...all of em.
LSU played terrible and played better than FSU down the stretch. FSU lost three games...to Wake, to NC State, and a down Clemson.
They scraped by a dejected, given up Florida and barely won a bowl game against a putrid, horrible, Oklahoma.
That is your returning productivity. shite, NC State beat LIBERTY by 1, then FSU by 10.
We will be fine on the line.
Did you not see the busted zones, the missed blocking assignments? They were not beat, they were confused and not capable of executing in the first game of the season.
This is FSU...this is the ACC....

The bad news: the game was not as close as the score indicated. FSU was clearly the better team in that game. We were lucky to bring it back to a one point margin.
The good news: LSU improved by leaps and bounds afterwards.

It absolutely was though. We played awful for an entire half. Even with that, they failed to capitalize on our mistakes and never put us away.

You are correct that FSU vastly outplayed LSU last year for nearly the entire game. So they certainly deserved to win and were the better team that night.
However, as last season wore on, LSU had far better games and higher peaks while FSU never really did anything. They had a weak schedule and lost to all the ranked teams they played.
If the LSU that lost to Texas AM shows up, then there will be major questions about Brian Kelly. But if LSU steamrolls, same can be said for Norvell. Both coaches need this game and whoever loses, that fanbase will be correct to question just where their programs are.

It was exactly that close. In spite of TOP, how we got yards or when we got em makes no difference
