Why haven't we seen more outrage from the D.C. Republicans denouncing Trump's persecution?

I know there's the occasional outbursts of denouncement coming from Gaetz, MTG, Donalds, Boebert, probably a few others but for the most part the D.C. Republicans have kept clear or minimized their voice of displeasure over Trump's political persecution?
It's like these D.C. Republicans have forgotten there are a minimum of 30-40 million hardcore America First/MAGA voters who are well aware of their lack of interest in what's happening to the undisputed heavyweight champ of the America First/MAGA movement.
It makes you wonder if the Republican Party survives if DC Republicans and the RNC bail on Trump. When Trump is declared the primary winner the DC Republicans and RNC better rally with strong support for Trump or I'm not sure how long the Republican Party exists.

Because they might be even more excited about Trump's persecution than Democrats.

They aren’t known as spineless pussies for nothing. Learn it and accept it.

Same reason they never stopped impeachment…..
They are all in on the gravy train.

As my friend coolpapa suggests above, it's much more than just an issue of cowardice.
One would think they should be more afraid of the consequences of what they are actually doing instead. Maybe the fact that they aren't is what's most telling here.

They are just as much behind this as the Dems.

It's not R vs D. It's politicians vs citizens.
We are at a very critical point in our country.

There are only two groups which matter. Americans and the Washington Commanders.

Because adults don’t need social media posts to feel validated in their opinions.

Because this is what they desire.

Pssst...they hate Trump more than the Dems do because he ruins their carefully crafted illusion of being separate from/against the Dems. He unmasked the snakes in DC.

Social media posts? I would hope the brain trust of our elected "conservative" representatives could do something more than social media ramblings to support the real POTUS.
