Yep I said it. Giles killed the 7 and O should’ve let it die. TWO special numbers per team? Dumb. And now that an OL has the 7, it has become officially stupid. This is a fake tradition that should die a quick death.

The ones who hate the tradition melt the hardest. It’s weird.

I don’t get how any of this can hurt a fans feelings

Our former and current players, as well as a majority of our fans disagree and gladly don’t give a shite what you think.

You and a thousand other people. Such a weird thing to melt about. It doesn't matter what fans think, it obviously means something to the team. I mean, it's just a patch.

Tell the board you were never worthy of a special football number... without saying you weren't worthy of special football number.

I don't care for it, either. It's a team sport. No one player is bigger than the team.

It’s baffling to me that people invest this much thought/concern in this. It’s just a little thing the team does. Players seem to be at least sort of into it.

Well, alot of people think it is cool. If something like this rankles you, maybe you should consider the problem isn't with 7 and 18, it is with you.

I hate the 7 tradition. Hate it more that it’s now a Louisiana “only” player to have it.

18 on the other hand, I love it. It actually means something to were it. The captain of the team both on and off the field. Not just the “best” player.

Just win. I don't care what numbers they're wearing.

I hate the constant bitching by Tiger fans, but they continue, I guess neither one of us will get our wish.

Who gives a shite about things like numbers and uniforms. If they beat FSU we’ll all be happy, no matter who is wearing #18.
