I bet they are. I’m sure ignorant pricks thick you’re on salary and their “personal driver.”

I did it for a while too and just like any service job, you have your good and bad customers. I was a waiter in college too and for every customer that gypped me I also had customers that tipped well more than standard. Which is why it always bothered me when I see servers on social media posting bills where they didn't get tipped, because they never go to social media to talk about the people that give 50+% tips.

I'm pretty sure I gave someone that posts here a ride home from L'Auberge because we stopped at Mr Ronnie's so he could get food and saw him browsing Tigerdroppings on his phone while we waited. When we got to his house he gave me a benjamin and said sorry he made me wait at the drive thru. Wasn't the only one time I've been tipped $100 either. As far as conversation goes I usually just stayed quiet and let the passenger initiate conversation if they wanted. Most of them are on their phones the whole time anyway. I only ever talked about my day job if they asked me.

I’m in a Lyft going to the airport as I type this and it’s $21. So I’m not sure what you’re talking about.

i'll tell you what he's talking about.

i used to park at my office which is 5 miles from the nashville airport and pay under $10

earlier this year it went up to $34 and the last trip was $49.

i deleted the app.

I'm fine with it. I've literally gotten 1-star ratings from Uber drivers for no reason.

Pretty much if you are traveling alone or as a couple hotels are the way to go. Have to get into 4+ people to have it stary to make financial sense.

I got a condo in orlando through vrbo for labor day. Much cheaper than the hotels there.

If Vegas cabs accepted credit cards without an added fee, I wouldn’t bother with Uber. I’ve had multiple times where there’s an issue with the pickup spot.

Uber jumped the shark long ago and the surge pricing is obscene.

I took an Uber in Vegas recently. Driver had no shoes in and was from Singapore. Within 30 seconds she had (literally) offered me hookers and blow.

5 at best. She did give me a sage piece of advice though.

"When you go to massage, look for small eyes. Small eyes mean small pussy."
