Nobody said that, but now that you mention it, it’s pretty much the best mix of the above, yes. Hockey right there with jt though

I would have to agree somewhat with you...

Boxing would be #1

Then Tennis and Soccer being 2nd and third....tennis being a more difficult sport than soccer

College or pro? Should've been clear in my post that college tennis is the pinnacle of all sports. Since Maason is sitting next week, maybe you and your doubles partner can give the D-line some help.

Why would you think college tennis is the pinnacle of college sports? That’s a strange thought

Because it has been represented that a male college tennis player can beat both of the Williams sisters, outlift female power lifters, and beat world class female MMA fighters. I simply didn't realize how lethal tennis players were.

easy

outlift female power lifters,
Crush the world record actually. World record bench for 132 pound female is 204 pounds. Conservatively, I could rep that 5-7 times

and beat world class female MMA fighters.
Thats the argument

Exactly. Well thought out and articulate post.

Sucks about those injuries. They happen but sorry it stopped your training.

BTW..in this thread, think it's important to note size does matter in a lot of cases. An active UFC female fighter, or even one that's been in the sport, would kick most people's asses for the reasons you noted, but not all. Complete side note, but watch the video of Conor McGregor vs The Mountain (Game of Thrones)! Not sure anyone, male or female, would stand a chance against someone that size.

Not likely we've crossed paths in the past. Live near Nashville, but started classes in 2015.

ot sure if this got mentioned, but some years ago a pro fighter, Germain De Randamie (sp?) fought a man. He was smaller than her and totally untrained. He gave her fits. She eventually got him, but the kicker was that he was a professional actor and there was speculation that he took a dive. I tend to believe she got him, but the fact that he was untrained and smaller, and gave her fits, was pretty telling and instructive for the conversation people are having here. Germain has fought at 135 and 145, I believe. I don't think she cuts to fight at 145. She's fairly tall. The guy she fought was noticeably smaller.

lets tell the truth now. he was bigger than her and it was a boxing match. The guy did train for 3 months or something. de randamie was a kickboxer with a 46-0 record with 30 knockouts. In mma she has 10 wins and 4 losses. what do you thik she would have done to that guy if it was a kickboxing match? she would have destroyed him.

here is the video.

A typical male jiu jitsu blue belt could probably be extremely competitive with an elite female MMA fighter. If he didn't make any mistakes he could probably muscle his way through the fight and win.

An average man of average size and average level of activity would be gassed after a minute and a half, and would wind up choked out. There is a point that size and strength advantages do become too much for a better trained person to overcome though.

Yes, and would most likely be able to just grab her and rip her head off her shoulders.

There’s some good stuff in that one that illustrates the point. Most of all was dude having her on the ropes throwing haymakers and she calmly comes out of that and waits for that rookie to leave himself exposed then she hit the lights out button.

like I said imagine this as a kickboxing fight. de randamie would have destroyed that dudes leg or set him up for a head kick and knocked him out or destroyed his body with kicks.

obviously a highly trained woman mma fighter wouldnt beat every man but they would beat alot of them just off of technique. women like cyborg, nunes, and de randamie are all walking around 170-180 lbs. they arent tiny little women. and what they lack in strength vs a man they make up for in technique. you arent catching them by surprise they have seen it all already.

the video I posted earlier in the thread with miesha tate handling those young men grappling wise. yes they werent large dudes but they were young in shape men and she easily handled them with technique. she basically ragdolled them despite probably being weaker than them strength wise.

Depends. I mean no matter your size. If someone locks you up in a good hold is going to frick you up.
Though I feel I child grab her and suplex her neck first and win.

That’s over exaggerated. More like 160.

Man get off that stupid shite. Ref stopped them every time dude landed a punch.

And that’s a fricking actor the same size as her hahahaha

Any damn street fight and all this “big guy going to get gassed” is bullshite. Woman going down in 20 sec with no rules to protect her.

But I failed to mention on top of this someone that is not trained will not have the muscle memory to defend leg kicks nor automatically move their legs in the proper way to reduce the impact once contact is inevitable. They will spend a lot of time eating calf kicks with the leg pinned to the mat with their weight.

But standing straight to maximize your chances at raising your leg in time matters.

Think early Bas Rutten.
