When trump leaves politics next year or in 2029, will his supporters leave politics?

MAGA supporters on here have made it crystal clear that there is nobody else they believe can deliver maga besides trump himself. They believe him to be such a unique black swan force in politics, that nobody can replicate nor follow his shadow.

So, when he inevitably is gone, what exactly will they do? If there is nobody else that can stand height-to-height with djt, and if the entire elected populace is a unipary, what exactly will magadonians do? Will they simply leave politics all together, resigned to the reality that nobody will fill the void left by their leader?

MAGA/America First is who you really hate. You've decided to focus your hate on Trump because it's easier for you to accept.

I don't know if they will vote, but the Trump base will do what they always have done - cry victim and blame their misery and situation on anyone but themselves.

When Trump wins next year, will you commit suicide, stop engaging in politics, or get so drugged up you won't know where you are anymore?

MAGA has been around a long time.

It's core group basically goes back to the TEA party.

Take away the personality for a second. From a policy standpoint what is about Trump policies that you don't like?

If trump wins the gop nomination, I have already prepared for the possibility of entering some sort of rehab/institution, because I think I really would more likely than not harm myself, knowing that the dems and biden would be given control of all 3 branches easily, would repeal filbuster, and pass law after law.

I have already explored my options in that regard, yes.

Very reasonable question.

Would love to see the OP take a few moments from posting new topics to actually try and address this.

Most of the never-Trumper/Weekly Standard crowd can’t get over Trump’s antics. Trump’s tweets trigger them b/c they have no sense of humor and are dull people.

I am ok with most of trump's policies, but you are basically asking a "other than that, mrs. lincoln, how was the play" question.

I think he is wrong on tariffs and medicare/ss, for sure. I also think he does to rural white trash white people what dems do to black urban folk. Run on an explicit identity politics platform where all the problems in these shitty areas are due to "the system", rather than crappy culture. I think trump is doing immense harm telling white trash whites in places like WV and NE Ohio that they are poor due to "oppression" rather than due to personal behavior.

His stated policies are fine. He wasn’t great at getting them across the finish line.

He got conservative (relatively) Justices appointed which is hard to overstate the importance.

He got a tax cut through with the House Speaker.

He did a good job of navigating through affecting foreign policy change without committing troops on the ground. And he killed some terrorists dead.

He tried to implement some good immigration policy.

I really dislike his "I lost to Biden" policy.

When Trump leaves politics his supporters will seek out another candidate who believes in America First.

Bro... HHTM, really dude, I know people give you a huge amount of shite (including myself from time to time), but you CANNOT seriously get that upset about something that you have such little control over and that may or may not even affect you 1/10th as much as you think it will.

You need to get away from politics altogether for awhile. I have some baby Nigerian goats I can give you... they're basically like border collies that eat anything. Find something far detached from any of this bullshite to focus on and take care of and commit yourself to and you'll forget about this in all of 24 hours.

This Spring, when we went to the Philippines and then took my wife's family to Singapore, you know how much I thought/worried about politics/TD/whatever dumb shite displacedcuck was saying?

Zero. It was nowhere in my mind.

Real talk, bro. I don't want to see you talking like this.

The problem you fail to acknowledge is Trump's predilection to forget his campaign promises, which can change weekly, after he is in office.

But that doesn't surprise me at all as it is difficult to hold someone to the fire when you blindly follow whichever way he twists and turns.
