Most people don’t understand the control you have piloting a bass boat when it’s on the pad. It’s like driving a sports car. My Pantera always was easier to control at 55+. I understand people do stupid shite while driving at high rates of speed, I always had a tendency to drive pretty safe. Hot foot makes it much easier as well.

I am more concerned with him losing his baseball cap and not finding it.

Coming from someone who's been in the fast boat game a long time and been over 90 and 100 hundreds of times, this is dumb! I'm sure some you guys would call me dumb. Most of my experience has been in a semi controlled environment. The speed isn't inherently dangerous, obviously it compounds things when shite happens. The average bass boat owner ain't got no business going 75 much less 95. Hopefully, the price keeps most people away.

I agree with dragboatscott. I’ve been running powerboats for a good while. I’ve been over 100mph plenty of times in big offshore/poker run type boats.

I have a new Pantera 2 and it’s a handful.

That’s just roughly $80 per pound.

I saw this guy on Lake Conroe earlier this year. It’s a 400 so not quite the 500 beast, but I’d image his boat is way lighter than the jag.

I was in one fishing today. The Jag and Racing 450 is really a nice combo. Its well behaved and fishes great for a big boat.

Not anymore. Pierce family sold to Yar-Craft a few years ago. Rick still runs it though.

167k for a tiny bass boat is ridiculous.

What is the point of this for fishing?

Yes I know people say to get to the best spots first in a tournament. Funniest thing I ever saw was a black man enter a pretty big tourney on a local lake that had a lot of pros in it with their fancy equipment and boats. He had a 14 ft flat bottom and trolling motor.

He smoked their arse and won the whole thing

Who the hell needs to go 94mph in bass boat?? That's basically just death on demand at that point.

It’s not that the wind is blowin, it’s what the wind is blowin.

It’s not just 94mph on the water , it’s what’s under the water

That speed isn’t bad if you’re in a cigarette boat that’s a deep V hull and heavy.

It’s dangerous in a bass boat. Too light and easy to lose control
