One of my uncles got all of his nieces and nephews a very nice set of luggage when they graduated high school. Mine was a victorinox/Swiss army suitcase and carryon bag.
Seemed odd when I was 18, but it was certainly the best/most useful of all the graduation gifts looking back.

Man, I got gyped!!
All I got was money to buy a 12 pack and told not to call home if I went to jail. And still had to be home by curfew!

A happy death by Albert Camus. It’s a book every young man should read.

Please God tell me you are kidding! I thought the gender reveals were the most ridiculous thing.

Biggest mistake he will probably make in his young life. I take it he is not independent of the family funding and doesnt plan to be anytime soon...

Is this some foreign custom? This sounds as dumb as the “period parties” for girls.

A membership to Triple A. I know you baws wanna be hardcore and handle all your vehicle issues yourself, but it's helped me out of all kinds of jams. Them dudes can change a tire with that mobile impact wrench in about 10 seconds.

Does gap year mean he's going backpacking around Europe for a few months or work as a cabana boy or at Yellowstone for a year to get some real world away from momma's tit experience or something cool like that? Otherwise, if he's just going to get stoned and play video games for a year that sounds like some lame shite a cuck would allow their kid to do. I did Basic Training and AIT, then worked in construction for 6 months before I started college. That's the real coming of age gap year shite that every kid needs so they know what's really in store for them before they flunk out Freshman year or get a girl knocked up.

Just looking for ideas here...
My cousin invited me to a party for his son today. It's supposed to be a birthday/graduation/coming of age party for his son who is 17. Apparently it's going to be men only and he asked that I get a gift that is relevant to a young man venturing out into the world (I think he may take a gap year then pursue college).
Has anyone here been a part of this and what would be some good gift ideas that would retain value as he makes life decisions? (Not whiskey or hookers lol)
Ant help is appreciated.
I see Gap year, and I think he's going work at the GAP. Tight rolled cuffed jeans, braided belt with the excess stuffed into the pocket. Gift him a swift kick in the arse, and tell him gap years are for trannies.
