Any of you baws familiar with this area, I’ve got a job offer in that area - schools seem ok, home prices are all over…it’s tough to tell if it’s an area on the way up or way down.

It’s sandwiched between Garland and Forney. They have a Baylor Hospital. That’s the gist of it.

Southeast Dallas. Many distribution facilities opening up out there. Not sure I would call it an up and coming area. Many jobs should be opening up there in the next 5 years but not sure how nice the area will be. It’s okay now, not great.

You can buy a decent house, 5-6 minutes from the medical center for $175-185 sq/ft. Older ranchers, well kept, with small yds.

Add to the list of DFW suburbia I’ve never been in my 10+ years here.

I live in Forney. I’d move to Sunnyvale asap. Great little city. Don’t move to Forney or seagoville. Traffic is fricking nuts pats Collins rd.

If you work in Sunnyvale, I’d look to live in Rowlette or Rockwall.

My sister lived in Rockwall for 30 plus years. It was amazing the growth of that city during that time.

I'm sure the diversity made it much nicer.

Half of those unwhite folks want to put peepee in your coke, so I imagine there is a low crime rate.

Sunnyvale used to be heavily criticized by the left cause they had strict zoning policies.

You had to build on at least one acre and no apartments were allowed. Critics said it was racially motivated.

Idk if they still have those rules. The articles I just googled are all old.

Why would you work in Sunnyvale and move to Rowlett (a worse city than Sunnyvale) or move to Rockwall (a great city but no reason to leave Sunnyvale)
