August is always the hottest month. If you’re a man from the South, you would know this and be a man about it.

I haven’t had a drop of rain since July 16th. The lack of rain is doing a number on my garden, shrubs, and 4 year old trees. I water just about everyday but can’t seem to keep up.

How many threads about it being hot do we need this summer. It’s Fawkin hot…it’s August. If you don’t work outside, then stop being a pussy. If you work outside, then you should have found a better job.

It’s been hotter for a longer period of time than what’s normal, definitely longer than normal in my piece of SE Louisiana, the lack of rain is what’s making it worse. My yard looks like some yard in Arizona.

The United Nations said last week were no longer in a period of Global Warming because we moved up the danger zone and they declared that we are now in a period of Global Boiling.
Only problem though is that the crawfish aren't coming out of the water all red and full of spice.
On a serious note the heat index in Folsom yesterday was a 130 degrees.
