Anyone got any good spots?

Looking to get some good Boudin and Cracklins in the New Orleans area.

Ronnie’s in Baton Rouge is the GOAT but that’s a bit of a haul. TIA

New Orleans doesn't know good Boudin!!! Gotta hit up Lafayette or Lake Charles for that. Maybe even Breaux Bridge.

Supposedly Chris specialty meats in lakeview does. I have never had them and not sure if they still do it.

You can buy stuff in chain grocery stores that are from Louisiana.

Just like other stores sell stuff from Nola companies.

The other day a bought a central grocery muffuletta, I wasn’t in New Orleans.

No come to Houma.

Bourgeois Meat Market. New location right off Hwy 90. 45 minutes from Kenner.

Bourgeois Meat Market website

They ship also. Check them out. Very good website. And outstanding products. Shows them cooking in a huge pot.

Been in business over a hundred years.

Otherwise you will have to go West.

Chris’s in lakeview is as good as it gets in the greater Nola area.

Grab some steaks while you’re there.

I make a pretty good boudin at my house, but it aint for sale. I like Chris's boudin. I have only had their chicken cracklin' and it was pretty good too. Nothing like Lafayette, but it will scratch the itch.

Don't get me wrong, Ronnie's is solid, but it's far from the GOAT. With that said, there is a location in Hammond, which is at least a little closer to New Orleans.

Best boudin in the NOLA area is going to be Boudin by Jamison. Thank me later.

As stated before, Brewery Saint X has some tasty cracklin as does Blue Oak.

Anybody have any experience with Juneau’s Cajun Meats? The original is in Marksville and they recently opened a new location in Franklinton, a hour north of New Orleans.

If you are looking for some boudin to bring home they sell Best Stop vacuum packed at Rouses.

Toups for some of the best cracklins out there. Honestly rather them over places like Kartchners, Billy's or Don's.

There is a Bergeron's in Mandeville now that can fill some need.
