You'd think a 3 trillion dollar infrastructure bill could help out with something like this.

They are still working, the renter called to tell me her power just came on. The house is on Carolyn Sue which goes south off Goodwood at the elementary school/Baptist church.

Apparently she’s lucky. My aunt just told me two bucket trucks came into her driveway, guys walked around assessing, etc about 9:15. Then packed up and left for the night

Dr Josh was hell bent that it was not going to snow a few years ago while this board kept saying it was and he laughed at us only to be wrong lol.

He still hasn't gotten over that. He takes to facebook all the time to try to discredit OT weather threads

They need to move power underground to the front yards servitude or easement instead of on the poles behind the homes in the Sherwood /broadmoor area.

I hated this when the power would go out. It would take longer to restore as the power lines were on poles behind the yards.

it's all about turning the most customers back on the fastest for every storm worked...

rear easement aerial is the hardest to work so that is usually the last to get turned on...

Broadmoor here and my power was back on ~9 pm last night. Was planning to stay with a friend for the night when I checked my cameras and they were back on.

I live a block over from Broadmoor High school. The power was back on at 9:05 last night . I purposely stuck myself in the entergy crew. The last thing they did last night was to connect the breakers on the main line on Goodwood at Woodhaven St. next to the drainage ditch. At 10PM they went to the house. It was a 16 hour day for them.

There are still small parts of Broadmoor still with out power because of trees that blew over pulled down the power lines . Those trees will have to be cleared away before the crew can re string new power lines. We have huge oaks that the trunks were split in half from the strong winds. It is just as bad or worse than the damage from Gustav.

Looking at the Entergy Outage Map, Broadmoor still has 1,254 houses out.

What a joke of outages for a thunderstorm.

Yep. They are saying 7PM tonight, but I'm sure that will get pushed back again. It's clear they have no idea what they're doing.

I’d bet it Logistics and Procurement that are screwing the pooch over the Linemen.

Probably trying to run spare parts as close to none as they can and can’t figure out sourcing and transport.
