Our defense is a shite show and ownership doesn't care one bit

I’m pretty positive that THIS red-card will NOT be overturned so for the next 3 matches Liverpool's available center-backs will be Matip, Gomez, Nate Phillips, an injured Konate, and possibly Endo in a pinch.

Quality Liverpool bench depth!

ownership isn't serious about winning.... they worried about keeping the bottom line in check...

this nickel and diming shite ain't working anymore... you wanna win in the EPL you HAVE to spend money...

i'm kind of done really following them until i see something that indicates they are willing to try to be competitive again... b/c right now, this ain't it

I don't think it's a three match ban for a denial of an obvious goal scoring opportunity. I don't think that was ruled violent conduct. I also could be wrong.

Definitely out for Villa then.

Will the rumors of Salah leaving for the Saudi get louder?

Edit: amazing match, did not expect that result after the first half

Darwin pulled Liverpool’s arse out of that dumpster fire.

Three very welcome points but three more than Liverpool deserved from that shite performance frankly.

Happy for the result but Newcastle gave it away.

Why isn’t he playing more minutes? Is he unable to pace himself for a full match?

Newcastle’s only goal came from a giveaway.

I’d say our boys did well playing a man down for nearly 70 minutes. Harvey Elliott and Jota were incredible.

Harvey has been a pleasant surprise so far this season. He has a made a difference of the bench

Gakpo is really out of position and it shows every game. I appreciate his effort but we’re asking him to defend way too much in areas of the pitch where he isn’t great. Dominic’s fitness is amazing. Plays every minute and always has legs late in the match. Those were 100 million $ finishes from Nunez. The defense is a complete wreck but if they whistle an obvious handball at Stamford Bridge that was let go we’re probablysitting top of the table @ 9 points with City. Gotta take that because last season we lose this game by 2 or 3 goals.

Was about to get Darwin off my fantasy team... still don't get why he's not a starter.

I think the MF is solid now. Sbozo, Mac, Endo with Harvey, Jones, Thiago off the bench. It’s now the defense I’m worried about. We are still thin at CB and could use a good Trent backup. Trent could probably use a game off or two, he has not looked good…especially defensively.

I think you’re right, maybe I’m being super optimistic but hopefully he comes back hungry and better

Not just last season, but most of our middling seasons since 2014.

I was just coming to post that I think we are overlooking the fact that we have scored 3 goals when down a man this season, which has happened twice.

This team, despite depth, is hungry and DAMN good. We’re in a good spot, especially given that in seasons past we wouldn’t have won those two matchups we were down a man in.

This could be a special year, knock on wood.
