one of top hits is "JPMorgan Chase has been in New Orleans for 180 Years"

Probably a section of one of the original banks that became JP Morgan Chase.

Huh! Wait till they shove digital currency and social scoring down our throats. Then demand you implant a chip in your hand so they can monitor all your financial transactions and track your location 24/7.

Pandemics like Covid-19 is simply an effort to train the sheep in compliance. Plus kill off the less desirables, like stubborn old white Republicans.

Connect the dots people.

Bank One didn’t come to LA until 1996 through Premier Bank of BTR acquisition. At some point it’s disingenuous to say you’ve been banking with them for 40 years. No one has been banking with them for 40 years unless you are aNew Yorker.

So when Premier and First Commerce Corporation of New Orleans became part of Bank One their customers had to sign up for new accounts with Bank One and deposit a check from a now closed Premier (or First Commerce) like brand new customers? Were mortgages and other debt of customers released or forced to completely redo as new customers?

I went down a rabbit hole of banking one time on Wikipedia. Pretty interesting. It was as fricked up 200years ago as it is today. I started with the Manhattan company and went from there.

Bank with a local or regional bank where you have a personal relationship with a bank exec.

We use local credit unions for our checking accounts and our mortgage. For a savings account, it's hard/impossible for local banks to match the 4%+ interest that most the national banks are offering with high interest savings accounts at the moment.

When told the story I was told I was not the first Chase customer they had inherited for no definitive reason. They did ask me if I had made a firearm purchase through Chase. Late last year I charged two handguns and a decent amount of ammo through Chase. No idea if connected.

ESG ! 99% of the population in this country have no idea what they're in for, global fascism. Once the CBDC is in place, it's GAME SET MATCH. The O-T will then realize what "You'll own nothing and be happy" is all about.

As long as it doesn't look like you're intentionally trying to keep your deposits at or below $10K/day, I doubt they'll say anything.

If it looks like you're intentionally trying to avoid a CTR, they'll shut your account down so fast it'll make your head spin.

I try and not put more than 10K in a day in and keep it somewhat spread out. But been in business 8 years and no problems yet

I’m guessing you went full-nuclear Karen. Not only did you speak to the manager you spoke to the manager of the manager.

We as Americans should fire all the large banks and go with local credit unions and community banks.
We’d be better off collectively.

Never was a member of Chase and never will be when they told me that they wouldn’t cash a tax return check from the US treasury because I’m not a member … it’s the fricking currency provider’s check…there is no reason not to cash it.

why not just cash it at your own bank dude or pay the $5 fee. I mean they have to pay for those armored vehicles to distribute cash around.

Right because no one ever tries to commit fraud. Cash it at your own bank. Also, who the frick gets their return via check? Sounds trashy as hell

I still do not believe you’ve told the entire story. You went belligerent, likely said some racist shite, and don’t want to admit it. Now you’re propping up conspiracy about gun and ammo purchases.
