I do hope we make at least one pre-deadline move in the pen before making big ones on Aug 2. I'm not sure how sustainable this pen can be until then with how tough our schedule is.

Yeah, I'd normally give Snit shite for being his normal terrible bullpen manager self and leaving a starter in too long after they were at 90ish pitches and showed they were losing it a bit (walk and hit batter), but we literally don't have a single high leverage reliever on our roster right now, so I can't blame him too much for sticking with Strider.
AA needs to get busy and get some bullpen arms with the trade deadline coming up.
At any rate, nice comeback, and it's great to see Riley getting hot.

I think he's probably already working on it. He's the best GM in baseball and he didn't get that way by resting on his laurels and being reactive.

We definately need 2 solid bullpen arms going down the stretch. Getting Minter back healthy will help...
I have my fingers crossed for a starter too, besides Fried.
I'm not sure how Elder finishes this season. Up to the all star break, he was damn solid....
I can't see us winning in the post season with just Fried, Strider and Ole Uncle Charlie.
We'll need another depandable guy.

Bullpens win World Series.
You only run a 3 man rotation in the playoffs, and that is our best 3.
Go get pen help. The rotation I think will be fine. Get pen help.

You use 4 starters in the playoffs if you have anywhere near a league average 4th starter, If you use 3 you will need multiple bullpen games which doesn’t seem like a great idea for a team without a lot of bullpen depth.

He's been really good in Gwinnett this year, but he's not an MLB starter.
Not feeling confident with him and Soroka getting the ball in the first two games against a hot Milwaukee team.
