One thing I love about classic cars

Your driving down the highway and from far away you spot something cool. Let's say a square body Chevy. Get a little closer and you start giving it the critique.. Stance is right, no crazy mods that will kill the value.. Still has that stock look.. If that's the original paint someone has really taken care of it.. But they use it, that's no garage queen....
And right when you get up close and look over to see the driver it's a 60 year old hard lived lady, probably going to get groceries, just hating life. With this look on her face like 'I'd do anything in the world to be driving a 7 year old corolla right now'.

Mainly true with vintage Chrysler sedans

The pinups that went with them were way better, too.

I only dislike mine this time of year. No A/C.

My 66 Sprint 200 had AC for some reason
BTW, none of these cars are environmentally friendly. Apparently that is a thing on this board now

Part of the fun of owning an old classic is getting a wave or a thumbs up when you are out and about. These old cars all have a story connected to them and I enjoy hearing them.

That wrench is a very unrealistic size, btw.

Would give anything to have my first car again. 1967 SS 396 Chevelle with the L78 375 HP engine. Only 612 made. It was a beast and only a handful exist today with the original drive train. I was only 16. If I had only known now what I know today.

I’ve been watching a YouTube on a Daytona coupe kit car being brought back to life.
