Jay Grymes just said the wind is blowing your way and that it’s probably too late as you’re likely already gay.

Turn you ac off and don’t go outside. The wind is blowing that way between LSU and Gardere

Plaquemine residents advised to stay inside and turn off AC and ceiling fans
Definitely follow this advice as there’s no confirmation of what’s actively leaking/burning, but the biggest danger of EtO is flammability/explosion, it doesn’t generate a toxic cloud after being burned. Unburned EtO will smell sweet, and if you can smell it the concentration is high so gtfo.

We just got word that it is now okay to turn on AC since the wind is blowing northeast.

I’m confused - isn’t your AC a closed system? It’s recirculating indoor air and removing moisture with the outdoor condenser unit?

I’m with you on that. I don’t understand why they recommend turning your fans off too. Does sweating your balls off keep you safe?

The main concern from this unit will be the Ethelyne oxide. The risk of hazardous chemicals is low. the Ethelyne is highly explosive.
