Anyone that molest or hurts a child should be exterminated but you think that society would best be served by putting them in minimum security prisons. That is the difference between you and I and you still can't understand why everyone on here is disgusted with your opinions.

Senator Shannon Grove has introduced Senate Bill 14, a bill that would include sex trafficking of a minor in the lists of crimes that are defined as serious under California law, making the crime a strike under the Three Strikes law.
Hank... Whether a person has one or two "strikes", if they are convicted of trafficking a minor either for picking tomatoes or for sex, that person should be sentenced under the 3 strikes law. Do you agree with this?

Be prepared for Hanks 5 paragraph response as to why the 3 strike law is horrible.

Ed. 2d 811, 822–23 (1994) (holding that prison officials are obligated to protect prisoners from violent attacks by other prisoners); see, e.g., Bistrian v. Levi, 696 F.3d 352, 370–71 (3d Cir. 2012) (finding that plaintiff stated a constitutional claim against officials who had placed him in a recreational yard with other prisoners whom officials knew were likely to retaliate against plaintiff).quote:You're going to need to cite that BS, Hank

the words you are tying to avoid is child slave labor.
Yes, IMO even "slavery" (with a chance of escape and with a limited period of servitude) is "less bad" than murder (from which there is no returning and which is rather permanent).

My legal opinion, however, is that your proposal for "extermination" would probably not survive 8th Amendment review, even if you were successful in getting it enacted.

Hes a dipshit
Minimum security for his precious peds
He pretends is about money and he is lying
An abused kid is generations of ruined children in the future
A self perpetrating disease he is advocating for

The left and liberals go to an awful lot of trouble to protect pedophiles and criminals in general. They are very soft on crime, as we see criminals getting released right back on the streets very easily in many major cities. I think it’s a fair criticism. We should put more efforts into protecting the victims of pedophilia, trafficking, and crimes in general. The criminals seem to have enough people fighting for them to get back on the streets.

Most of the homeless addicts on our streets were abused as kids

It is not a "three strikes" law, if you apply it in instances of only two strikes.
I think that the question you MEAN to ask is whether penalties for sex offenses against children (even first offenses) should be stricter. In most states, probably so, but I am not familiar with the penalties in all 50 states.

Roger, how many times do you want to go back over this issue? You are either entirely dishonest or simply too stupid to understand my position. I see no reason to argue with you further.
It’s fairly obvious, you’re afraid of what could happen to you in prison if you were ever caught.

'Human trafficking' is one of those terms like 'racist' that have completely lost its meaning over the last decade.
Anytime I hear the term I question the source

No one cares about your fake arse legal opinion. Just because you once lived in a neighborhood that had an attorney living in it does not make you a legal expert.

Child rapists must never be imprisoned because they run risk of violent attacks by other prisoners?
Did you presume your citations had anything with the Constitutionality of preexisting CA law?

Roger, you REALLY don't understand the point. Smaller words, I suppose.
Roger wants worse penalties. Roger should lobby legislature. Until legislature changes penalties, prison should not impose harsher sentence than sentence imposed by court.
State should not waste money on prisoner who will not try to escape.
NONE of that is specific to sex offenders. For some reason, you cannot grasp that concept. Well, there IS a reason. Two of them. One, you are an emotional child. Two, you just aren't very bright.
