More and more, black people who can think for themselves are waking up to the scam the Democratic party has been putting on them for years...

What makes it even more impressive is she makes it clear her district is solid blue, so it's not a good political move for her but one she's making on principle.

I think we are going to start to see more and more of this. People are starting to see what's really going on. Half of these politicians can care less about there constituents. I'm not say the Republicans are much better. I think both parties are screwed up right now.

glad to have her aboard, but would rather she continue to support conservative causes while holding the D by her name.
Changing to R just means she won't win the next election against whatever D they select in the primary.
Make them fight her for the D spot within the democrat primary. She may have enough name recognition to stand them off. Either way, she has chosen to not be re=elected.
If it was her intent to not serve next term, then fine. It's about time some blacks learn that all DEMs want is their vote - and for them to continue living miserable lives so they will always be unhappy.

I think it is the sexual perversion of the kids changing minds; a lot of Black folk are seriously Religious, and that kind of thing is a defining issue.

It's a major drop in a very important bucket though. One that can cause a spill over ripple if she harps on the below, and a lot of what she said in that article. 3% of kids in in her district being proficient in any subject is sad. Her going after BLM, and money bring spent on illegal immigration are all great things that Repub leaders need to support her with. Not to make her to become a token arm charm, but to really show how blacks are needing to help get themselves out of this mess on their own.
