I think it’s rooted in the Talmud, the rules for how you interact with gentiles are much more permissive. We are, as the orthodox say, just cattle.

And there it is (again)

What's Trump got to do with Mexican Cartels and their sex trafficking business?
Nothing. I think folks missed the point/joke. The movie was made before the “moral panic” the author talked about…thus the time traveler joke.

Are these people that are being kidnapped off the street, or are these runaways, drug-addicts, that are being pimped out?
Both are bad, obviously, but different parts of the spectrum.

They're whining about the movie now but I bet hollywood is busy figuring out how to corner the moral movie market and add some twist to it that undermines anything good or inspiring

That bitch is so concerned with the Q stuff that he’s coming across as a groomer deflecting for pedophiles. It’s a strange hill to die on, unless…..

That is completely logical.

I haven't seen the movie, but I plan too.
When they discuss sex trafficking, how are the defining it?

This sounds uncannily like the SloFloPro kinds of arguments where he narrows the definition of child sex trafficking, divides it into multiple categories and claims the “real” numbers for it are a minuscule subset of the much larger numbers of global human trafficking.
The movie and its supporters are portrayed as intentionally using inflated numbers to inflame right wing hysteria and to play to Qanon/Comet Pizza/Pizzagate conspiracy nuts.
These are common talking points being adopted to demonize the movie, its advocates, and to deflect attention from global sex trafficking. Read a few posts of this type to get an idea.

Yet they existed long before the movie was even conceptualized
How does that work?

Bingo.
It’s pretty disgusting to watch posters deflect for pedophiles and child sex trafficking just to score political points

It would be, if this were actually occurring.

Only one group is making this into a partisan issue.
Human trafficking has no political allegiance. Anyone who tries to make it partisan is suspect.

Yeah, you and your leftist comrades trying to tie this movie into some stupid Q conspiracy instead of focusing on the movie’s message and plot

Show me my partisan posts about human trafficking
I have never associated a political party or ideology to human trafficking. It's way too serious of an issue to do something so disrespectful to the victims.

You are so full of shite. You are knee-deep in it if you can't admit the truth.

I'm continuing to be amazed at the number of people and media pressing against this movie

Disney gave this movie away for free. It was made for peanuts compared to Indiana Jones. Indiana Jones is a flop. Great business Disney.

It appears most of the people hating on this movie are from one party. Their reaction has been vile. It’s not a good look.
