In Jaipur, India, women are breaking into the country’s male-dominated rickshaw industry thanks to the Pink City Rickshaw Company. The non-profit empowers low-income women with training and jobs—and provides visitors with a unique opportunity to see Rajasthan’s Pink City up close while supporting local women.

quote:

“In places like Rajasthan, women are not free to work on their own. They have a lot of restrictions,” he explains. “So, it was difficult to get them to join this movement, because they hardly drove, and they were not comfortable. But after some time, a few women agreed. They were having financial problems and just looking for something to save their lives. That was the turning point. One after another, more women kept joining.”

No word on if India does mail order brides, but I'll keep my eyes peeled and post back when I find any info for you baws.

The higher the population in the country, the more "female empowerment" initiatives.

They want to drive now, but next thing they will want is to vote and speak in public.

I have seen Indian women drive in Atlanta. No way I would get in one of those things

I make a concerted effort to not judge but women from this part of the world are for the most part extremely unattractive. To the point when you see a nice looking lady from the area it really catches your attention. To make it worse, they age like curd.

That was actually a solid business plan. Timing was the issue. The technology is there now to micro chip the homeless workers and put GPS trackers on the rickshaw so they didn't disappear.

If you wanted a mail order bride I would look toward Thailand. This is nasty.
