No doomcanes through the next two weeks on gfs. How often does that happen? Gulf is closed closed.

Saharan Dust. Subtropical ridge flexing, increasing those trade winds. Plus, looks of a classic looking El Nino rising cell over the Pacific, leading to sinking dry air over the Atlantic development region.

End of July looks the next window. Maybe. Though the above post shows a strong counter argument to that sentiment.
