MM had a spaces on Twitter and dropped some interesting nuggets. I know how this board feels about the guy so make of it what you will. Interesting nonetheless...

Said we will not be a tax team this year but would have been had Zion not gotten injured last season

Said that teams aren't very interested in Kira so we'd have to give up an asset or two to get rid of him.

The biggest one was that it's not "beyond the realm of possibility" that Ty Lue will be the HC of the Pels going into the 2024 season. Not sure if Willie is the best Xs and Os guy. We will see but that was a little surprising.

I'd say that's a pretty big one there I love Willie, but this would be a great hire.

This doesn't really make sense to even say about Temple.

No one thinks he has value. If his contract is picked up and he's traded it's solely to get the salaries to match, so it just seems odd to point out that teams aren't interested in Temple, the asset.

The team that has never dipped into the tax that is known to be rather cheap is gonna hire a dude and pay him as one of the most highest paid coaches? I don't see that happening. Ty Lue isn't coming here on some discount, we'd have to make him probably a top 5 paid coach.

How could he possibly know this?

Yeah, Kira isn't a good asset. We don't view him as such, why would others? Temple we can just cut

MM just doesn't like Willie, that's all from his mind. You could say just about anything after "it's not beyond the realm of possibility" and it would be accurate.

ETA: Any "sources" that MM has have to be real dumb to give that guy any kind of insight. He would immediately reveal it on his twitter for clicks

I saw this one on twitter and I think he's a podcaster. This is an interesting shot to call, that Liam Robbins gets a roster spot rather than a 2 way.

Based on what I have heard I think everything shakes out like this:

JV- Traded
GT- Traded
Kira-Traded

EJ- Signed minimum
Liam Robbins- Signed Minimum

So essentially you’re looking to see where the other 3 Roster spots are coming from. Could be a fun day!

I’d be a little surprised if Willie was let go. He’s pretty popular in the building.

I doubt they end up trading Jonas because I can't see any upgrade at the position costing the same or less than him. That being said, you still have to shop around and try. We need a better rim protector and we have to move someone at some point that has enough salary on the books to move the needle

The PelsPress account has been around awhile and to my knowledge has never predicted anything of note

Have followed him on twitter for a while. Nothing more than a casual fan acting like he has info. Have never seen him break anything.

Right. He is a fan.

If I recall, he originally started it to have an account that was positive because "too many of the twitter accounts about the team were negative"

He certainly doesn't have any inside info

I think honestly they’d get rid of him for nothing. They won’t get an upgrade but maybe just get that money off the books and sign a journeyman.

So funny that MM constantly claims he has no alters here, but posts on twitter about info from the site within minutes of it being posted-

If you are going to post what I said on Spaces in TigerDroppings -- do it accurately. Never said we would give up something to get off Temple. Said we moved his date but I dont see us using him in a trade because we are so up against the tax anyway.

Several of you read me, recite me, & thank me here but you just let them trash me on Tigerdroppings w/o speaking up + sharing with them the truth

I've done enough, w/o asking for anything in return, to earn a few people to have my back IMO. Last I'll say about that sewer trap

Honest Man isn't happy with this board.

If I recall correctly, he got a lot of props for being 100% right on the Jordan Hawkins call.

For the way we play, Zach Collins would be a significant upgrade and costs $7.7 million, which is way less than Jonas's $15.4 million. That's why I think that it's the move that we make.

Heck, many made that call. My teenage son made that call well before the draft.

Most of the mocks had us taking him. It was the least surprising pick of the draft, besides Wemby.

Not sure I would call him a "significant" upgrade. He has started 42 games in 6 years and has not played in half of the games since he has been in the league. I think he would be a good backup option or a big to split time with another lower cost big.
