Beer ad from the 1989 SI Swimsuit Edition. Somewhere, Madison Avenue took a wrong turn since then.

The answer is women. Peggy should’ve stayed on the desk answering phones.

I had a version of that said either LSU or Louisiana, not ASU. They were throwing them during sometime before Mardi Gras at LSU one night back in the mid 80's.

Middle school me thought it looked cool on the wall in my bedroom - that is, until family came over one weekend and someone took it down

One of the great things about Spring Break back in the 80’s, was getting all the free bikini posters from the stores and beer venders

One of the GOATS

It's from the 90s but this was one of my favorite beer campaigns:

I grew up in the era of British Motorcycles and every year Norton would put out their yearly calendar filled with bikini clad young ladies straddling their motorcycles.

Same for many tool companies with their bikini clad models showing off the latest tools that could be bought.

The good ol' days when sex sells meant young women in great shape with pretty faces, not these morbidly obese women parading around in skimpy clothing or worse yet, some tranny pretending to be a woman so they won't feel left out........
