We have AT&T cell phones and basically can’t access internet when it gets crowded downtown. Locals say it’s all Verizon up here. Anyone else having the same issues? What’s the work-around?

Stay off your phone for 2.5-3 hours and enjoy the national championship game.

I have AT&T and am experiencing the same issues. There is no “workaround.” Get off the damn phone and enjoy the game. Make plans with your crew on where to meet after the game

Get close enough to Rocco’s to use their Wi-Fi to do whatever you need to do.

I have AT&T and it worked much better Sunday than it did Saturday. That was before people started pouring out too. Blat Beer has free Wifi. We needed to transfer a ticket on Saturday and that was the only way we could do it.

Turn off your Wi-Fi and use data. I have t mobile and that has seemed to work most of the time.

I carry both an ATT and a VZW phone… the ATT was a brick all weekend. Had to use Wi-Fi… rather interesting to see a major city with such poor coverage. (I have both as I’m on rural jobs sites and usually 1 or the other has coverage rarely both.)

My service around/in the stadium has been great, but I have FirstNet by AT&T for first responders. We have priority and don’t get throttled down. My friends have normal AT&T and say the same thing as you. Barely even getting texts through.

The work around is to go to the AT&T tent by the stairs close to parking lot D and ask for their internet password. Because AT&T internet coverage totally sucks all around Omaha.

Roccos has their wifi posted on the wall. The Blatt's wifi password is Blattbeer (check capitals). use those if you need to download tickets last minute

T-Mobile must have a tower on top the damn stadium because I’m getting great service and I usually don’t have service at sporting events.

I've got Mint Mobile which uses T-Mobile. I had no problems.
