re: Airtag to track trailer or tractor? - cdl2006
One potential problem with doing this is that if whoever takes it has an iPhone, they will likely get a notice that they are being tracked and have the option to disable. My wife has one on her keys and when I take her car somewhere without her, I get a warning every time. ...

re: Yard drainage question - cdl2006
I saw someone on here the other day that used a propane torch from Harbor Freight to kill his yard. Looking at YouTube, a number of people use it to kill weeds. Perhaps something like that could be used to get the weeds since it drains into a lake....

re: Is this vent cover acceptable for a rooftop dryer vent? UPDATE - cdl2006
I had something similar on a new construction home and within two months, it was clogged. Clothes weren't drying and when I popped the hose off behind the dryer, water came dripping out. The builder came back and put the dryer jack previously recommended and have not had any issues going on almost...

re: Chicago or New York? - cdl2006
Appreciate the feedback from everyone. The consensus seems to be Chicago so will likely head there and save New York until the kids get a little older. ...

Chicago or New York? - cdl2006
I have 4 children (13, 9, 6, 6) and am planning a 4 night trip to either Chicago or New York. I’m leaning toward going to Chicago, but was wondering if anyone had an opinion on which would be best given the age of the kids. My wife and I have gone to New York before the kids, but neither of us has ...

re: Disney Tickets with credit card points - cdl2006
I believe undercover tourist codes as travel, so you could pay with your venture and use points to get the tickets paid for. ...

re: What beach gear do you use? - cdl2006
For the little kids, a five gallon bucket, a decent shovel, and a shower curtain liner. Dig you a 4’ by 4’ hole about a foot deep, throw down the shower curtain liner, and make a couple trips to the water to fill it up. Throw in a couple toys that float and it can entertain multiple little ones all...

re: Multi room audio questions / packages - cdl2006
I’ve got the amplifier linked below and have been very happy with it. I have an echo dot on the back of the tv in each room I have music. This allows me to play music by voice or through Alexa/Amazon music app. As someone else mentioned, you can also set up speaker groups so that the same music pla...

re: New house build - cdl2006
I would recommend typing up an addendum listing everything you know you want in the house and expect to be included in the bid, no matter how small you might think it is. Make sure the contractor includes it in his bid and it is included as written in the contract you sign. Window color, a specific...

re: Shipbuilding Contractor Halts Mandates After Employees Threaten To Walk Off Job…. - cdl2006
I agree. The workers should be celebrated. I just don’t want the company to be praised for the way they have handled this because it is not deserved. They are still enforcing it in one of their other divisions and if they get a new contract and it is included, the workers will have to stand again...

re: Shipbuilding Contractor Halts Mandates After Employees Threaten To Walk Off Job…. - cdl2006
Let’s not give them too much credit. This is the same company that shoved the mandate down its employees throats for two months, threatened to terminate them if they didn’t get the shot, denied legit medical exemptions and all religious exemptions, and did a poor job communicating with its employees...

re: Thor appliances good or bad? - cdl2006
We put a Thor range in our new build two years ago. It looks really nice for the price you pay. We had an issue with the igniter for a burner at the beginning and the Thor reps were very helpful sending replacement parts to get the issue resolved. Other than that, we’ve been very happy with the prod...
