My dad taught me how to play at Howell. I'd kill for a chance to play there one more time with the old man.

Shenandoah

I moved there when I was 11. I was homeschooled for the first few years I lived there so I had a ton of time to play. I still have the course memorized. Every now and then I’ll pull it up on Google Earth and go hole by hole remembering great shots on each hole.

Do you Shenandoah guys have any golf accessories from there? I’m looking for a scorecard, ball marker & bag tag.

Fairwood. My brother and I practically lived there in the summer back in the day. Golf in morning, pool in the afternoon. Good times.

The mid tier country clubs are sadly going away fast.

Hardly any left around the area.

Island and Pelican may be the only ones left.

I prob know some of these Shenandoah people. I spent all day every day at Shenandoah during the summers in middle and high school.

I guess we can add “old Clark” to the list - the new layout is an improvement, but I liked being able to show up at 6:30 after work and walk 9 for less than $10. Plenty good enough for my “game.”

I miss Fairwood. I really enjoyed that course. Greens were great back in the day.
