First two albums I can play without skipping a song. Their Mesopotamia EP with David Byrne producing is fantastic. Whammy is also a great album. Love Ricky Wilson’s unique style.

Coincidentally, I can skip Fred Schneider's Just Fred album without playing a song.

B-52’s rocked it out back in the New Wave days. They put a southern spin on it.

I like it too. I also like her duet with Stipe. No, not the shiny happy people but the other one, Me in Honey.

The Cindy songs are underappreciated.

Me in Honey is the better song anyway.

Caught them years ago at the Manship in downtown BR. Top 3 concert ever for me. Keith Strickland who started on drums and replaced Ricky on guitar after he died was genius. Just so much fun in a small room.

Loved them all through the 80's - party/fun stuff
They stayed at the resort I used to work at in Tempe and were complete arse holes.
What a disappointment.

Kate and Cindy are the female version of Paul and John, when it comes to duet vocal harmonies. Anyone who disagrees is wrong.

back in 1980 at AU I was invited by this artsy chick to the Beaux Arts Ball which was at the old Polka Dot Inn in Loachapoka

it was my first real exposure to what passed for counterculture back in the day

i specifically remember the DJ playing "Dance This Mess Around" and thought 'holy frick, what have I gotten myself into'

can't hear that song without being transported back to that night

album version

The one time I got to see them in concert was the brief period that Cindy wasn’t with them. Kind of a let down. However, it was made up for by the fact that unbeknownst to us, the Violent Femmes were the opening act.
